PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The Master’s Program has a core mission to provide high level interdisciplinary expertise in the fields of the green transition, European climate policy, sustainable corporate governance, and the economic analysis of energy and the environment. It aims to prepare professionals capable of responding to the complex demands of a rapidly changing economic and regulatory landscape.

More specifically, the Program seeks to achieve the following:

  • In depth understanding of the European and international institutional framework governing climate and energy policy, including key strategic initiatives of the European Union (European Green Deal, Fit for 55, ESG frameworks).
  • Development of legal, economic, and managerial skills necessary for the analysis, evaluation, and implementation of policies and regulatory interventions in the fields of energy, sustainability, and corporate responsibility.
  • Strengthening students’ ability to respond to complex labor market challenges at national, European, and international level, with emphasis on managing regulatory, technological, and environmental risks.
  • Preparation of professionals capable of contributing to the design and implementation of sustainable development policies, using tools such as economic evaluation, ESG criteria, performance measurement methodologies, and contemporary corporate governance practices.
  • Cultivation of research skills and analytical thinking, enabling students to produce well documented studies, assessments, and policy proposals with scientific validity and practical relevance.
  • Connection of academic knowledge with professional practice through applied projects, case studies, collaborations with institutions, and opportunities for internships.
  • Development of ESG reporting skills and compliance with European sustainability standards, which have become a critical requirement for businesses and organizations.
  • Ability to apply quantitative and qualitative methodologies for assessing environmental and social impacts, supporting evidence based decision making.

Through these objectives, the Program develops highly specialized professionals capable of supporting the transition toward a sustainable, competitive, and climate neutral economic and institutional environment.
