PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Master’s Program focuses on the interdisciplinary analysis and practical application of the green transition, sustainable development, and European climate policy. It combines tools from economics, law, and business administration, offering comprehensive training in a rapidly evolving field that constitutes a strategic priority for Greece, the European Union, and the global economy.

The Program addresses the growing need for professionals capable of understanding and managing the economic, regulatory, and technological challenges of the green transition. It provides in depth knowledge of the European and international institutional framework (European Green Deal, Fit for 55, ESG frameworks), as well as contemporary methodologies for assessing environmental and social impacts.

The educational philosophy of the Program is based on:

  • Interdisciplinarity, enabling a holistic understanding of a complex phenomenon such as the green transition.
  • Integration of theory and practice, through applied projects, case studies, and collaborations with institutions and organizations.
  • International orientation, supported by the collaboration with the University of Aberdeen and the strengthening of research extroversion.
  • Development of high demand skills, such as ESG reporting, regulatory compliance, economic policy evaluation, and sustainable corporate governance.

The Program fills a real gap in the Greek and international education market, as no other program offers a comprehensive, specialized, and exclusive focus on the economic and legal dimensions of the green transition and sustainability. In this way, it contributes to the development of professionals capable of supporting the transition toward a sustainable, competitive, and climate neutral economic and institutional environment.
