Professor Rebecca-Emmanuela Papadopoulou is Professor of European Union Law at the School of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in European Union Law, including EU Economic Law, Environmental Law and the EU Internal Market, Fundamental Rights Protection in the European Union, the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice, and EU Tax Law.

She holds postgraduate degrees in European Law and Administrative Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a PhD in Law from the Université catholique de Louvain. Her research focuses on European Union Law, particularly the principles of the EU legal order, economic governance, fundamental rights and the EU internal market. She has coordinated European research projects, held visiting professorships at leading European universities, and has published extensively in the field of European Union Law.
