
Hossein Radmard
Lecturer in Economics
Dr Hossein Radmard is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics at the Business School. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from West Virginia University, and before joining the University of Aberdeen he was an assistant professor of economics at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. His research fields are development economics, political economy, and institutional economics. He is particularly interested in studying informal institutions such as religion. In previous projects, he has studied the relationship between religiosity and entrepreneurship as well as religious diversity and conflict.
